A Few of the NBA’S Biggest Prospects
The NBA mock draft has begun to be created as the season has come to an end. The top picks have been mapped out from multiple sources and it looks like there are few young men who are being named as the number one favorite. Deandre Ayton, Marvin Bagley III, and Luka Doncic are all predicted to be the top picks.
Deandre Ayton is a stellar athlete, with a looming stance of seven foot and one inch, and weighing in at two fifty, he is a force to be reckoned with. He boasts great stature as well as being light on his feet and has the ability to make quick changes during his runs on the court. He originated from the Bahamas, and ever since he has played with the Arizona Wildcats, he has dominated the opposition. The fact that he only played one season as a freshman, and is already being drafted early is a great sign for the young player. Ayton is most likely going to be heading to the Phoenix Suns, hopefully, to step in as the new offensive force.
The next draft favorite is the European Real Madrid player Luka Doncic, he is a great player and is the teams’ favorite for point guard and lead ball handler. There is much debate in the basketball world about this rare player, as his physical attributes don’t exactly match up with athletic nature of his fellow competitors, his knowledge of the game is superior. He is critical for a teams’ lineup when it comes to passing, as he is quick both with his hands and his feet and can sling passes, leading to some quick points on the court. The Slovenian is now looking to bridge from the Europa League to the American as the young nineteen-year-old vies for a spot on the Memphis Grizzlies.
Finally, Marvin Bagley III who is coming from Duke’s stellar program, he boasts an impressive stat log. He brags one of the best points per possession record as he has a great method to defending and refusing to turn over the ball to the opposing team. Although in past games he has struggled to keep out seasoned defenders, it looks like he will be utilizing his growing skills to play with the either the Dallas Mavericks or the Atlanta Hawks. As these are just early NBA draft lottery predictions, but with all the players being extremely young and promising, we will just have to wait and see.
